Have you seen that quirky little character online — the “Autism Creature” also known as the TBH or Yippee Creature? Supplies

Light blue or gray fleece (or felt)
White and black felt (for the eyes)
Needle and thread or fabric glue
Stuffing (polyfill or cotton balls)
Scissors
Optional: Velcro or zippers to make it a fidgetable plushie
Print or Draw the Shape

Trace or print a simple blob-like outline based on the original TBH creature shape (round head, blob body, stick arms).
Cut the Fabric

Cut out two identical shapes from the main fleece/felt fabric.
Add the Face

Cut two white ovals and two smaller black circles for the eyes. Glue or sew them onto one piece.
Sew the Plushie

With the facial side facing inwards, sew or glue around the edges, leaving a 2-inch opening.
Flip and Stuff

Turn it inside out, stuff it, then stitch or glue the opening shut.
Customize

Add felt speech bubbles that say “YIPPEE!” or “TBH” for fun. You can also add velcro patches or pockets for sensory fun.
Tips:
Use soft fabrics for sensory comfort.
Add lavender or rice for a calming scent or weighted feel.
Make it a keychain or backpack buddy for school or therapy bags!
📌 Why This Project Matters
This plushie isn’t just a cute craft — it’s a way to connect with identity, express creativity, and bring a beloved symbol from autism culture into real life. Whether you're autistic or an ally, making your own “TBH Creature” is a small act of joy and self-expression.
