100% Recycled Cooking Stove
Cooking Stove from 100% Recycled Materials.
Supplies
- Clay
- Two recycled tin cans
- Nichrome heating wire
- Heat-shrink tubing
- Two M5 bolts
- Two M3 bolts
- Connecting wires with alligator clips
- Battery or other DC power source
START
Add water to the clay and mix thoroughly until it becomes a smooth, uniform mass with a consistency similar to modeling clay.
Carefully Cut Off the Bottom of the Tin Can
Design and Build the Electronic Circuit Board
For manufacturing the PCB, I once again used JLCPCB.
I’ve already ordered many different 1–4 layer boards from them for previous DIY and engineering projects, and the quality and delivery speed have always been excellent.
What’s especially interesting now is that JLCPCB is actively expanding into higher-performance multilayer PCB manufacturing, especially 6-layer boards. These boards make routing much easier in complex projects, increase wiring density, and allow engineers to build more compact and efficient devices.
GERBER FILE ( GOOGLE DRIVE DOWNLOAD ) Right now, small-size 6-layer PCBs, starting at 50×50 mm, cost only around $2, and new users can also get a $30 coupon for their first order.

Make the Necessary Markings and Drill the Holes Accordingly
Insert the Bolts, Secure Them With Nuts, and Install the Heat-shrink Tubing
Install the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Between Two Layers of Clay
Create a Groove in a Serpentine Pattern
For a better understanding of the project and its details, be sure to watch the full YouTube video, where the entire construction process is demonstrated step by step.
Install the Nichrome Wire, Close the Lid, and Connect the Wires
This Compact Cooking Stove Can Be Very Useful While Camping, Fishing, or Traveling
It can be placed near your vehicle and connected directly to a battery to heat or cook food.
