Soak the stone in water for 5-15 minutes, and then place it on a stable platform. Sharpening a knife with one or two steps depends on the degree of dullness of the tool.

Insert stone into rubber base and then seat it in the bamboo base.

The angle is subject to 15-45 degrees. First rough grinding and then fine grinding. Rough grinding, used to repair severely damaged and aging edges, suitable for dull knives. Hold the knife at an angle of 15-45 degrees, and gently grind the edge back and forth on the surface of the stone until the edge is sharp enough.

Don't scrape the slurry while sharpening. Lubricate with water to keep the stone wet. The effect of grinding out slurry water is better.

Repeat step 4 and step 5 on the #1000 side until your kitchen knife achieves desired sharpness. Use #3000/#8000 side to provide extra fine polish on your blades.

Clean the stone and blade when done. Allow it to air dry completely.

Note: After the kitchen knives are sharpened, rough grinding and honing are required in half a year. It also depends on the specific situation.
