For some time now, I've been trying to get functional musical instruments out of a RepRap. A lot of time was spend getting to know the nuances of the process. At some point, I was feeling frustrated as I could find guides describing the slicing or the printing part, but nothing which described the entire process, so I went on to make it myself.
As the poster was made under the scope of my musical instruments research, it contains some extra information on that subject, but otherwise it should be applicable for any object.
As the RepRap project is still heavily evolving, this document could have new versions every year. If you have suggestions, or want to make a variation yourself, send me a message and I will send you the source files. It is an open source document after all. Anyways, have fun with it, and I hope it make the learning curve a bit smoother!
