Supplies

Here are the essential components you need for setting up an AdoPiSoft-powered DIY Piso WiFi vending machine:
- Raspberry Pi 3B+
- Official AdoPiSoft custom board with stand and heatsink
- Newifi 3 D2 router
- 32GB SanDisk SD card
- Cat 6 UTP network cable
- 12V 5A power adapter
- Universal coin slot
- AdoPiSoft Business WiFi license key
- AdoPiSoft e-loading activation code
Enter MicroSD Card to Raspberry Pi

To get started, simply insert your SD card into the SD card slot on your Raspberry Pi or Orange Pi.
Since the card is already pre-configured, you’re all set—it’s already flashed with the AdoPisoft software image, so there’s no need for extra setup.
Just plug it in, and you're good to go!
Attach the Stand and Heatsink
Now, let’s give your Raspberry Pi or Orange Pi some stability and cooling.
Start by attaching the stand that comes with your custom board. This will keep everything secure and in place.
After that, take the heatsink and carefully place it above the processor.
This is going to help regulate the temperature and keep your system running smoothly without overheating.
Insert Custom Board Female Pin Headers Into RPi/OPi Male Pin Headers

Next up, grab your male pin headers for the Raspberry Pi or Orange Pi and carefully insert them into the female pin headers on the custom board.
This is where things start to really come together.
Just a heads up, if you’re using this custom board for the Raspberry Pi, you might need to trim the tip of the board to ensure a perfect fit.
It’s a simple step, but it’ll make all the difference in getting everything aligned properly.
Connect Custom Board Dupont Wires to Coinslot
Alright, now let’s connect the Dupont wires to the coinslot.
Don’t worry about the wiring—they’ve already been attached to the correct pins on the AdoPiSoft custom boards, so all you need to do is plug them in.
There are just three sets of wires to connect:
- Coinslot wires: These include 12v, Coin, Ground, Set Pin, and another Ground.
- Red and Blue Power Indicator wires: These will light up your power indicators.
- 12v LED Indicator wires: For the LED to light up, of course.
Insert UTP Cable Into RPi/OPi LAN Port and Newifi Port #1

Now it’s time to get your network connected.
Take one end of your UTP cable and plug it into the LAN port of your Raspberry Pi or Orange Pi.
Then, connect the other end to Port #1 on your Newifi device.
This will ensure that your system is ready to communicate and you’re all set for the next steps in your project!
Insert UTP Cable Into Router and Newifi Blue Port

For the next step, grab another UTP cable.
Plug one end into the Blue Port on your Newifi device, and the other end into the LAN port of your router or modem.
This will establish the network connection and get everything talking to each other, ensuring smooth communication between all your devices.
Plug in Custom Board and Newifi Power Adapter

Now it’s time to power everything up!
Plug in both the custom board power adapter and the Newifi power adapter.
You’ll know that your Raspberry Pi or Orange Pi has successfully booted when you see the green light indicator pop up.
Also, keep an eye on the Newifi device—there should be a blue light above the power icon, as well as above the 2.4G and 5G indicators.
Once those lights are glowing, you're in business!
Connect to AdoPiSoft Hotspot
Now that everything is set up, let’s test if your piso wifi machine is up and running!
Start by opening your device’s WiFi settings and connecting to the AdoPiSoft SSID.
Once connected, a "Sign in to network" prompt should pop up.
Click on it, and it will redirect you to the captive portal. If for some reason that doesn’t show up, simply open your browser and type 10.0.0.1 in the address bar or use that address. This should take you straight to the captive portal.
And just like that, you've got yourself a fully functional piso wifi vendo machine! Enjoy the setup!
