This beach top cover up can be done in under 10 minutes.

Find Your Fabric or Old Scarf

Step 1: Find a big piece of square scarf or a large square fabric. I'm using a 130cm X 130cm scarf.

Fold the Fabric or Scarf Into Half

Fold the fabric into half with the fold on the top

Cut the Fabric or Scarf

Then cut the fabric in the middle of only the top layer, starting from the bottom edge.

DO NOT CUT the layer below.

Sew the Edges or Leave It Raw

Its really up to you if you would like to leave it raw or sew the edge of the fabric that you have just trimmed.

Sew an Inverted Triangle

Sew an inverted triangle on the lower left (starting from the bottom edge upwards).

Then sew an inverted triangle on the lower right side of the fabric.

Why Inverted Triangle?

It gives an instant bias cut look from the side (as shown in the picture).

The Finished Look (front and Back)

You can slip it on under a camisole, bikini top, a tube bra. The possibilities are endless. Happy sewing! :)
