Another Periscope

Simple periscope for kids entertainment

1. A cardboard tube, mine is 38mm diameter, but this project is scalable
2. A 2mm acrylic mirror sheet
3. A 3D printer
4. A milling CNC for cutting the mirror. But a scroll saw should do the job... or a powerfull laser.

There is two "heads" made of PLA.

My Parameters :

1. 0.6 mm printing head
2. 0.3 mm layer thickness
3. touching buildplate Tree Support

I've used a milling CNC for that.

My parameters :

1. 2mm bit - one tooth
2. 350 mm / minute - cutting speed
3. vaccum (helps for cooling the bit)

Please find here the corresponding DXF file.

1. Put on the table the cardboard tube, the 2 mirrors and the 2 heads
2. Using a tape fix each mirror on a head
3. Using the same tape fix the two heads on the tube
4. That's it !!
