Another Periscope
Simple periscope for kids entertainment
Supplies
- A cardboard tube, mine is 38mm diameter, but this project is scalable
- A 2mm acrylic mirror sheet
- A 3D printer
- A milling CNC for cutting the mirror. But a scroll saw should do the job... or a powerfull laser.

Print the Parts
There is two "heads" made of PLA.
My Parameters :
- 0.6 mm printing head
- 0.3 mm layer thickness
- touching buildplate Tree Support
Cut the Mirror
I've used a milling CNC for that.
My parameters :
- 2mm bit - one tooth
- 350 mm / minute - cutting speed
- vaccum (helps for cooling the bit)

Assembly
- Put on the table the cardboard tube, the 2 mirrors and the 2 heads
- Using a tape fix each mirror on a head
- Using the same tape fix the two heads on the tube
- That's it !!
