Summer's here! It’s the perfect time to get out of the house, on your bike and head into the great outdoors with your friends for a picnic.

Sun, food, drink and fun... but who remembered the bottle opener?! Well this super easy idea takes care of that! It will take 5 minutes and you only need one single-use sachet of Sugru — Stock up on some Sugru

This idea is so versatile — Sugru is great for sticking almost any summer essential to your bike – bottle opener, tyre pump, a frame for your GPS, a smartphone case or for attaching your bike lights using Sugru + magnets – so Sugru can help you be prepared for those spontaneous trips!

For this project, you'll only need a single-use packet of Sugru.

Open and divide it into two equal pieces, then each roll each piece into a ball.

Apply the Sugru

Stick one piece of Sugru to the top of the bottle opener, and one onto the bottom.

Shape the Sugru into a pyramid with your fingers.

Top Tip: If your wall-mounted bottle opener has bolt holes like the one we used, you can use these as a guide.

Line up the bottle opener with your bike frame and press down firmly, until some of the Sugru squeezes out around the edges.

Press down the excess Sugru with your finger to ensure a good bond between the frame and the opener.

Then leave to cure for 24 hours to cure.

Here's a quick video to show you how to get your Sugru looking awesome:
