I made this for my daughter on Xmas Eve and she loves it!!

YOU WILL NEED

1 handbag, or solid square shopping bag or sack with handles.
Fluffy brown or similar cushion cover slightly larger up to 2cm larger than the bag. Ensure that the cover can fit over the bag, around the strap and fits snuggly.

Supplies

Old or broken handbag or square shopping bag with handles
1 or 2 brown fluffy cushion covers
All purpose glue
2 Duct tapes, black and silver
Scissors
Tape measure

Applying the Cushion Cover

Put cushion cover over the bag and glue around the top ensuring it dries before you do anything else.
If the top of your bag is broken this is a great project for 'repairing ' it!
If your bag has a large flap, just use another cushion cover as I did and glue in place.

Applying the Duct Tapes

Once dried get out the black duct tape and cut it so that it overlaps the top and bottom diagonally and just press the tape firmly.
The strap can also be covered this way!
With the silver duct tape just cut strips 2cm wide one at a time and stick on top of the black tape until near the middle. Cut out a small square to stick down in the centre.

FINISHED!
