Identify the DC Power Jack
This component is important that be identified in its ends because it only has two polarities (+ & -). In this case, two ends are negatives. For this project, you need to use an unregulated wall adapter/transformer 9V, 600mA of positive center so that it can function correctly.
Identify the LEDs
Itis important to understand that the LED has that characteristic in its terminals one shorter that other so that you can identify its cathode or negative terminal.
Identify the Voltage Regulator
identify the voltage regulators 7805 and 7809. Observe the photo attached in this step.
Identify the Slide Switch
Observe the photo attached in this step, and take your switch and put it on the table as you can see it on the diagram.
Observe the Diagram
Observe the diagram and check the components jointly.

Install the DC Power Jack
Mount the DC power jack and solder it on your PCB by remmembering that two terminals are negative and one positive.
Mount the Voltage Regulators
Install and solder the voltage regulators according to the instructions of connection.
Install the Capacitor of .1microF
This capacitor should be connected in the input of voltage of both regulators.
Install the Electrolytic Capacitors
Install and solder the electrolytic capacitors by checking the polarities of your capacitors so that you do the connections taccording to the project's diagram.
Mount the 5V LED Indicator
Cut two pins of your 40-header male pin so that you can solder them on the PCB to obtain the output of 5V. You will also have to solder the green LED and the resistor of 1K.
Install 9V LED Indicator
Cut other two pins so that you can obtain the connections to the output of 9V of your power supply. You will also connect the red LED and the other resistor of 1K.
Install the Slide Switch
Mount the slide switch and connect it according to the project's diagram.
Complete Your Project
For completing your project, probe it by plugging into the AC power through your unregulated wall adapter/transformer of 9V, 600mA.
Check the Voltages
Check the voltages of 5V and 9V with your multimeter.
