Build Parallette Bars (Assembly Instructions)
Here is a bonus feature of the system.
Supplies
4 milled pieces of Northern White Cedar - this pair has a Shou Shugi Ban finish.
2 pieces of tubular steel 3 feet long and 1.66 in diameter.
Assemble First Parallette Bar
Take one steel tube and place it through any one of the four milled pieces of Northern White Cedar.
It has a versatility to go in any side, any direction of any one of the four at any time.
There is absolutely NO WRONG WAY to put these together.
However, a kind word of caution at the beginning. A blind DIY attempt to recreate these and other configurations will be dangerous and illegal.....these carefully placed and sized holes are at a precise compound angle - not simply straight on and through. Without the compound and approapriate angle the bar will not be able to cinch and cause the user irrevocable harm. You have been warned.
Be smart, be ethical, be fit and be an authorized user.
Finish the First Parallette Bar
Slip any one of the remaining three pieces for Northern White Cedar onto the other end of the same metal tube.
Assemble the 2nd Parallette Bar
Repeat Steps 1 & 2 with the remaining supplies.
ENJOY
These parallettes are versatile, adjustable and interchangeable.
The meaningful applications are sturdy, stable, easy to assemble and stow away when unused.
Simple and strong unlike the complicated and fragile human condition we are all in.
Stay tuned and I have instructions for the best push/pull sled I could invent, as well as a set of tall paralletes that can convert in to a freestanding set of parallel bars. All strong, sturdy and portable.
.......every able person should really sled more ;)
Please refer to my first instructable as there is pertinent information on how and why this parallette exists in the configuration shown and what more can be done.
