Button Rings

How to make rings out of paper clips and buttons! Very simple, can be made in bulk to sell or gift. I made mine for a ren faire trinket trade.

You will need:

1. Paper clips
2. Buttons
3. Paint brushes/pencils

Start with a paperclip. Unfold it into a straight line.

Using a small paintbrush or pencil, bend the paperclip in half. The smaller the button you are using, the smaller the paintbrush you will need.

Thread the paperclip through two button holes.

Flatten out either side of the paperclip

Wrap the paperclip around your thumb OR around a thick paintbrush.

Curve any pointy edges with your fingers and you're done! Happy crafting!
