Time for some Cardboard Sword action using the Laser Cutter at Techshop!
Sketch

First I started with a super detailed scribbly sketch of a cool looking sword that I'm going to use as a Template.
Import

![sword_3.jpg](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FD9/7PCD/HU54MI60/FD97PCDHU54MI60.jpg&filename=sword_3.jpg)
I imported the sketch into Illustrator and created a vector version for the Laser Cutter.
Assembly

With the pieces cut, I recruited a good friend Elmer to help put things together.
Glue, Glue, Glue.

![sword_8.jpg](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/F6W/BBWU/HU54MI66/F6WBBWUHU54MI66.jpg&filename=sword_8.jpg)
I glued the pieces and stacked them together according to the precise calculations of my initial sketch.
Let Dry
