Christmas Card With Painted Crystal Balls
Make an original Christmas card with painted crystal balls. This is a very easy Christmas card to make with supplies you probably already have at home.
Supplies
- heavy weight paper
- normal paper
- scissors
- water paint
- brushes
- thin black marker
- golden and silver markers
- glue
Paint and Cut
Cut out the desired shape of your cards from heavy-weight paper (squares or rectangles). I am using cards that were already sold in a perfect size and with rounded edges.
Now take the normal (printer) paper and paint crystal balls of different sizes (those crystal balls that you hang on the Christmas tree). Combine more colors, shiny colors look especially good. Let the colors blend.
Let the paint dry and then circle around each ball a few times with a thin black marker.
Cut the crystal balls out.
Glue and Draw
Glue any number of crystal balls on the card so that they "hang" in different heights (they can also overlap).
Draw a string from the top of each ball to the top of the card.
Decorate the string any way you like - golden/silver dots, spirals... also, add a golden/silver top to each crystal ball.
Complete
Complete the Christmas card with a wish. You can add a personal note on the back of the card.
