Colourful Chameleon

A colourful chameleon made by twisting and weaving pipe cleaners together to form its body, head, legs and tail.


I created it to show how different colours and simple pipe cleaners can be combined to make a colourful animal.

Supplies

Orange pipe cleaners, Yellow pipe cleaners, Blue pipe cleaners, Light green pipe cleaners, Dark green pipe cleaners

Choose the Body Colours

Pick four pipe cleaners for the chameleon’s body.

Twist the Body

Put the four pipe cleaners together and twist them.

Make the Head

Open and bend one end of the twisted pipe cleaners to form the head.

Prepare the Legs

Pick two more pipe cleaners for the legs.

Attach the Legs

Tie the two pipe cleaners underneath the body to form four legs.

Shape the Tail

Bend the back of the four body pipe cleaners upwards to create the tail.
