Corrugated Cardboard Ship Pandemic Craft Remaster

The original cardboard ship was created during the pandemic, or should we call it "crafting season"?
Otto wanted to make a pirate ship, so he just just drew the pieces as they were required and set them intuitively. As he was only five then, the gluing (hot pistol) was made by me, her mom.
We had the idea of making a "remastering" of the craft toy, as it was originally made by him. Like any other well used toy, it lost some parts, broken or unglued... so we decided to turn it into a kind of roman ship, much simpler, without the paddles commonly seen in them.
But for instructions purposes, it had to be re-projected
Supplies

Corrugated cardboard used boxes
Scissors
Hot glue + an adult to handle it
Markers
Sheet or thick paper + stick for the mast and sail

Draw the boat parts on a sheet of cardboard.
It does not require ruler, the sole purpose is that the final piece is organic, so the drawing can be loose.
Make sure the proportions match, so you can glue them
The maker just have to pay attention to the proportions, which is great for kids as a training.
Note that Otto made some of the pieces smaller than needed and "cancelled" them marking an X on them lol.
Mom helped in some of them.
The lines of the waves of the cardboard help align the drawing.
If you prefer to draw parts together in the plan, mark the fold with the scissors.
Parts:
2 rectangles for the floor and deck
2 rectangles for the sides
4 small rectangles for the cabin
1 small rectangle for the cabin roof
triangular part sided by curved triangles for the bow
the wheel
stick + card for the mast and sail
Cut all the pieces with a scissor.

Fold and glue the pieces together with hot glue.
Set the main part with the 4 bigger rectangles.
Assemble the ship by gluing the cabin in one edge and the bow on the opposite side of the body of the ship.
Glue the wheel in the front of the deck and make a hole for the mast in the middle of it. Decorate the sail with markers and make two holes in order to pass it through the mast...

...and voilĂ !
You have a homemade charming cardboard ship.
