Creepy Crawlers

These "Scary Spiders" will impress your family and friends and are so easy to make!

Chocolate covered strawberries will be a refreshing surprise when everyone bites into these "Spooktacular" delights.

You'll need:

Black string licorice, cut into 1"-2" lengths: 8 legs per spider

12 washed and hulled strawberries

24 white chocolate chips

1/2- 1 cup melted chocolate (Milk or Dark)

1/2-1 cup cocoa

1 wooden skewer

Melt 1/2 cup of your favourite milk or dark chocolate in the microwave for 1-2min stirring to melt.

Pierce the end of each strawberry and dip the whole strawberry into the chocolate.

Roll into cocoa powder, place on a sheet of wax paper.

Pierce 4 holes into the sides of the strawberries using the sharp edge then enlarge with the blunt edge of a wooden skewer.

Dip each end of the licorice into chocolate and place into the hole. This will solidify and hold the legs in place.

Dab the bottom of the white chocolate chips with melted chocolates and attach the eyes
