Cup Made From Japanese Orange Peel

This is a cup made from Japanese orange peel with using urushi. I would like to show how urushi works for the durability and the water resistance.

Sabi-urushi is made from urushi and clay powder.

Dry the peel in oven and then apply sabi-urushi several times to reinforce. Finish with coating urushi.
