I found these great low profile tool boxes that fit under the rear seat of my truck. It has space for three boxes. The floor of the truck is solid which is great for easy clean up. The problem is that the floor is smooth so whenever I hit the brakes everything slides forward.

Supplies

For this project I utilized a piece of scrap wood. It also required a Bungee cord and spray paint.

Making the Barrier

I measured the space under the back seat to determine the length needed. I took a piece of scrap wood from a previous project and cut it to length. I then gave the board a quick sanding. The bungee cord was cut in half. Each half was attached to one end of the board with a single screw. I wanted the look to match the vehicle. I have a gray and black interior. I then gave the whole board a coat of black paint. Once the paint was dry I laid out a cross safety pattern with blue painters tape. I then coated the board with gray paint.

Once the gray tape was dry, I peeled off the tape and installed the board in my truck. There are metal brackets already in the truck. I looped the hook from the bungee on each end.
