DIY Enchanted Rose

This was a tad different for me to share with you guys, but I hope you still like it! I love doing arts and crafts of all kinds. First things first I got most my stuff at Michael's and a few things at Walmart or I had it at home already. You can get all the things I used at any place that sells crafts or online.

I used:

Bell shaped glass dome

Glass cake base

Acrylic white paint

Krylon white paint/primer and glitter purple spray can

Red rose

Fishing wire

small detail paint brush

random ball thing

clear rocks

purple sparkle ribbon

white glitter

hot glue

For the cake base that I used it was green and I wanted it to be mainly white with a purple sparkle so I used that white paint/primer and coated it all then set it aside to dry.

For the glass dome I wanted the little details, so I took the white acrylic paint and the detail brush and painted on the inside of the glass. I think it will help it look more like an etching. I did this with small flicking motions and put it all around the bottom.

For the ball I'm going to glue on the top I used the left over paint to roll it around in and then patted some white glitter on top.

Now that I gave the base time to dry I'm going to take that purple sparkle spray and coat it with that. Then I let everything dry.

After it's all dry I set up the lights to make sure it was all looking how I wanted it to.

For the rose I need to trim the stem so it fit in the glass dome. Then I cut some of the petals off and put them aside so I can add them to the bottom of the glass dome. I also made sure it fit in the dome.

I took some fishing wire and tide it on the rose, I put it under the green leafs to help hide it. Then I took a clear rock thing I had at home and glued the other side of the string then glued the rock to the top of the glass dome. You can use anything you have, like a bead or something to do this as well.

I glued the ball to the top of the glass then added some of the clear rocks I had as well.

I put everything together then I used that purple ribbon stuff to go around the side and placed some rocks on top. And that's it! You did it! Yay! Youtube.com/msmaomaoz
