DIY Lamp

This is a lamp made by Sadie, 12yrs for the trash to treasure contest and uses stuff at your house you might normally throw out or not use.

You need:

fairy lights

recycled paper cups

Strong tape

something long and sturdy (pencils, old nails, old pieces of cutlery)

a pin

Get your pin and start to create a design on the cup

Cut a piece of cardboard or another cup and leave a gap to put the lights through

Once the lights are in get as much of the sturdy object as needed (I used 4 big nails) and tape them together

Attach it and make a base for the lamp, I used the bottom of another cup

Switch off the room light and turn the fairy lights on! This is a neat gift or a cool night light for kids
