DIY Laser-Cut Botanical Wooden Tissue Box

2. One 3mm plywood sheet — flat, clean, and dry

Laser settings for 3mm plywood: cutting speed 10mm/s, max power 30%, min power 10%, HIGH air assist.

Place the 3mm plywood flat on the laser work bed and make sure the surface is clean, dry, and stable.

Check that the plywood is not warped, because a flat sheet helps the laser cut the tissue box panels more accurately. If needed, use pins or magnets to keep the material from moving during cutting.

Import the botanical wooden tissue box design into your laser software and adjust the size to fit your plywood sheet.

Check all cut lines, slot positions, and the top and bottom panel layout before processing. Since this is a tissue box cover, make sure the panels and connecting tabs match the 3mm material thickness so they fit together smoothly after cutting.

Set the correct laser focus before cutting the plywood.
