DIY Pokémon Card Selector Spinner (Which Starter Will You Get?)

Build your own cool spinning wheel out of cardboard to randomly pick which starter Pokémon (Scorbunny, Sobble, or Grookey) you'll start with. Perfect for card games, real-life battles, or just fun.
Supplies

Cardboard (about 12" x 12")
Paper (for printed artwork or hand-drawn Pokémon)
Toothpick or wooden skewer (as axle)
Push pin or thumbtack
Glue or tape
Scissors or craft knife
Marker/pencil
Ruler
Optional: Color printer
Draw Your Spinner Base

Cut out a circle from cardboard (around 8-10 inches wide).
Divide it into 3 sections (like a pizza).
Label each: Scorbunny 🔥, Sobble 💧, Grookey 🍃.
Add artwork, either draw them or print little images.
Add the Spinner Arrow

Cut out a small triangle-shaped arrow (about 4 inches).
Poke a hole in the center of the spinner circle and arrow.
Use a toothpick or skewer as the axle.
Push it through the arrow and spinner, then anchor with a bead, eraser, or paper backing so it spins freely.
Secure the Spinner

Pin or glue the wheel onto a piece of cardboard backing so it doesn’t flop around.
Add a base to help it stand up (folded cardboard works great!).
Customize It

Add stats or short bios about each Pokémon.
Make a “Shiny” chance space if you want.
Add lights, glitter, or Pokéball designs around the edge.
Play!

Spin the arrow to see which starter you’ll choose.
You can also use it for:
▪️ Picking who goes first in a battle
▪️ Picking challenges
▪️ Random rewards!
