DIY Post It Note Tangram

You might have heard of tangrams right? The little tiles that you put together to create a square, animal, etc.

Well, today we are going to do the same thing but the tiles are made out of post it notes (to save money).

The whole idea is to use those shapes to create a square.

Let's stop talking and let's start making!

Before we continue, here are the materials needed:

• Post-it notes
• Scissors
• Ruler
• Pencil

To start, we need to draw a triangle on the post-it.

To do this, first mark the center of the top side of the post-it with a pencil. Next, mark the center of the right side of the post-it with a pencil. Next, draw a line connecting the two center points. Finally, draw a line from the center point to the bottom left corner on both sides.

Now that we drew a triangle, it's time to cut it out.

After you cut it out, you should get 4 triangles. These are the tangrams.

Now that you created your tangram, try to use them to create a square. After you're finished, you can challenge your friends or your family members with this tangram.
