The first step in this pie crust is 2 and a fourth cups of flour.
Salt

The next ingredient you want to add is a teaspoon of salt. Mix the flour and salt together.

Next, cut in a cup of crisco using a pastry blender until it resembles coarse crumbs

Add 5 to 7 tablespoons of ice cold water to the mixture, 1 tablespoon at a time.

After you have mixed the dough, divide it in half and roll each section into a half inch thick dough round. Wrap the dough rounds in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 15 minutes . The dough will look oily when you take it out. If it does not, it will be fine.
Top Crust Glaze

When you have filled the pie, and placed the top crust on, you can make a glaze to go on top. Use a 1/4 cup of milk, 3 tablespoons of sugar, and a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix well and use a cooking brush to spread it on. ( you can use a spoon also)
