References

the best way is to find online references for your mask, for colour design and shape.
i went with the more yellow version of the visor
Base Frame

So this is the main frame of the visor.
To make the frame line the sunglasses trace around the front if the sunglasses to give a base shape, then measure how long are the arms in a rectangle from top to bottom of the frame. Then measure 0.5cm on the inside on both the top and bottom lines on both sides, then make a triangle as seen in the photo on both sides these are the sides of the visor. Once done measure a 13x2cm rectangle for the lens so you can see through the visor and make it 1.5 cm away from the top of the visor and if it goes past the nose area make a new one below as seen in photo 5 and have it coloured to see it so that it gets removed. Once done cut out the frame and the eye lens.
More of the Base

To start have the sides folded to create arms and that is the foundation of the visor. Next create 2 7.5x8.5cm circles these will be the base of the visor ears these will create the magic of the visor being worn on the head. The circles can be adjusted to where you ears are in distance. Once done cut 2 1x7cm rectangles (where the cardboard won’t bend as much) and put it between the arm and the visor make sure it’s clear of the lens then add two skewers and glue them to the frame (refer to photo 6) this helps the visor keep in shape and stops it from being loose and keeps it shape when worn.
Ears

This is the magic of how to get the visor to be worn.
start with 2 2x28cm strip as this creates the pocket for the ear and space. Glue the strip around the each circle on the ears as seen in the photos. Then create 2 more 8.5x8.5cm and cut a 3.5 x 4 long u shape (as seen in photo 4) this is what hooks onto your ear. Glue it on with the gap facing to the bottom (refer to photo 5) and that allows for the visor to stay on the face.
Lens

Cut the Cellophane red wrap slightly larger than the hole cut to have it fit in the frame and tape it to the visor on the inside to hide the tape. (I forgot to take a photo of this) and there it is. Now you can skip the next parts if you want or alter the design here completely up to you.
Top and Bottom

This is to cover the top and bottom of the visor start by tracing around the outside of the visor then the inside from the ear to the front (refer to image 2) then once cut glue to the top of visor then adjust to fit your head. Then repeat the process for the bottom but have it linked to before the gap for the nose, cut it and glue it (refer to images 8 and 9) then tape to keep it in place. (Now you can leave it like this or continue down as I said it’s a base design)
Ear Details

These are simple extra details for the visor, first start with 2 6.5x6.5cm circle then make 2 5x5cm circle the. Glue it together. Then glue to the outsides of the ears, these add more depth and detail, to the design. (Optional): what I did with mine was I made 2 3.5x3.5cm circle divided it into quarters then cut it into 4 pieces 8 in total then have them faced so when worn it create an ‘X’ shape representing X-men then glue it together the body this is completely optional.
Paper Cover (optional)

Mix Pva Glue and water to create a glue liquid then cover the whole body except for the visor lens in paper where the details can be seen with the glue water in 1-3 layers (this ensures that the beguile is more solid and stable). Sand down if you want to smooth the build.
Paint

The paint job can be whatever colour you want depending on how you want it to be I went with the classic yellow colour. Make sure to paint the visor (although the inside can be ignored)
Final Product

So with the final product you can add any detail you want or leave it as is, the sky’s the limit. I have added potential ideas, I went with a cartoon outline of the design.
now you can lead the X-Men
