Embroidered Sweatshirt

For this project, I made an embroidered sweatshirt in the Wisconsin "W" out of different embroidered flowers!

Fabric of choice (hoodie)

Needle

Embroidery Thread

Embroidery Hoop

Scissors

Gather all desired materials including:

Fabric embroidered on (hoodie, tshirt, etc)

Embroidery Hoop

Needle

Embroidery Thread

Embroidery Hoop

Scissors

As seen in the linked video:

1. Taking the embroidery hoop, loosen the screw to separate the inner hoop from the outer
2. Place on fabric and slide inner hoop back into outer and tighten with screw

As seen in the linked video:

1. Taking the needle and desired thread color, put the thread through the hoop and tie in a knot

Draw the desired design (if applicable) to follow when embroidering

Depending on the design, different stitches are used

As used in my project, a running stitch and also basic daisy flower stitch were used!

Following your guide, enter the needle through the fabric and secure with a knot at the end, then go in and out of the fabric to begin your stitch

In order to switch colors if needed, tie a knot and cut the thread

Rethread the needle as in step 3 to switch colors and continue!
