Engine Cleaning.

With the wife's car engine, I wanted to give it a cleaning to remove at least some of the accumulated grime. Having a clean engine is great for spotting any oil leaks. Here is how I did a quick 15mins cleaning.

Good Ole engine degreaser. Cures all yuh ails.

Spraying generous volume of degreaser I applied onto the heavy grime areas. I let it sit for about 5 minutes.

Using an old rag I wiped the hard grime off the affected surfaces.

Using an old juice jug, I poured water to wash off the grime.

Now the engine looks a little better. Once a month I will do this cleaning job until the grime is completely gone.
