Epaulettes Rainbow Shoulder Pads

For me, the rainbow represents joy, beauty, magic. Whenever I see the sky and appreciate one, it is impossible for me not to take a picture; they are too beautiful. For this instructable, I chose the rainbow with all its beautiful colors.

Materials

Colored fabric ribbon (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple).

Colorful plush pom-poms

Hot or cold silicone

2 bra cups

White frosted foam

Scissors

1. Separate the fabric ribbons by color.

2. Use 2 meters of each color of ribbon.

3.After separating them by color, divide and cut them with scissors, producing 6 strips of each 33 cm length, to obtain 18 colored strips, 3 for each color.

4.To make the shoulder pads, I used two bra cups and trimmed them slightly, giving them a smaller, more even shape. If you want, they can also be made in other shapes, but this one is really practical.

5.After having selected and cut by color, with the help of hot or cold silicone, each color of ribbon will be glued all around the shoulder pad, according to the order of the rainbow, starting with the color red, then orange, yellow, green, blue and ending with purple, this will be repeated until finishing the entire surrounding of the shoulder pad.

6.To decorate, we used colorful mini pom-poms, approximately 8 mm to 1 cm in size. Place a mini pom-pom of the same color on top of each color of ribbon glued to the shoulder pad.

7.Then, fill the entire shoulder pad with the mini pom-poms until it is completely covered in pom-poms.

8.Using frosted white foam and a pencil, draw small clouds. Draw a total of 6 small clouds.

9.Then glue 3 mini pom-poms on top of the previously glued colored pom-poms for decoration. Once the white pom-poms are glued, glue the clouds to the front of each pom-pom to prevent them from falling.

10.To attach the shoulder pad to your shoulder, use rubber, cut two 20cm strips and glue them to each shoulder pad with silicone.

11.Finally, here we have some fun shoulder pads, inspired by the rainbow, and their beautiful color combination.
