FPV Racing Drone Build - Complete Guide

This is my complete FPV racing building guide. I made these videos to make it easier for beginners to easily find all the information. My number one priority is to make it affordable.




- Assemble the frame (Velocity F-ONE)
- Mount the flight controller (CC3D)
- Mount the motors (RCTimer 1806)
- Solder 2mm bullet connectors to the motors and the ESC's.
- Add heat shrink tubing

- Add heat shrink tubing on the video transmitter.
- Mount the video transmitter (Elgae 200mW)
- Attach a piece of LED-light (Awesomeness)
- Connect the ESC servo connectors to the flight controller.
- Solder the main power leads.
- Add heat shrink tubing.
- Solder the XT60 connector.
- Mount the FPV camera using hot glue and foam.
- Screw on the propeller adapters on to the motors.
- Connect all the signal wires to the receiver.
- Bind the transmitter with the receiver.

- Connect the USB to mini-USB to the flight controller.
- Download the software.
- Start the "Vehicle Setup Wizard".
- Follow the steps in the video.
- Start the "Transmitter Setup Wizard".
- Follow the steps in the video.
- Try out the default PID-settings.
- Use zip ties to fasten the wires.

- Glue the foam cushions to the goggles.
- Remove the protective film.
- Assemble the fresnel lens.
- Put the housing in the support glove.
- Install the video receiver.
- Add some soft "rubber-foam" on the sides.
- Connect all the wires.
- Power up the quadcopter and look at the image in your goggles.

- Check the voltage of the battery.
- 11.1V = empty battery
- 12.6V = full battery
- Mount the battery using a battery strap.
- Fly it!
