Far Flying Easy Jet Paper Plane: Anaconda

IMG_6420.jpeg

Now that you’ve probably made the first two paper planes of mine… I was just now thinking that you’re ready to make your first jet… so today I’m gonna be teaching you how to make the Anaconda (and no this is not my design).

Supplies

square paper

bone folder creasing tool (not needed but highly recommended)

two hands

First Crease

fold your first diagonal crease from point to point.

Fold to an Edge

Fold one of the layer edges to the creased edge like how it’s shown in the images and do the same thing on the other side.

Fold the Top Down

Unfold the first diagonal crease and nothing else then fold the top flap down to where it reaches its limits.

Fold to the Cent Crease

Unfold everything except the top flap, flip it over and fold the two bottom edges along the center crease as shown.

Fold a Flap Up

Flip over and fold the top pocket up.

Fold the Sides In

Keep the pocket folded up and then fold the top of the sides into the center as shown.

Unfold Everything and Align One of the Creases

Fold both of the corners (not at the same time) to where it hits the center crease and gets aligned with another crease as marked in one of the images.

Do a Step Differently

IMG_6393.jpeg

Fold everything back to where it originally was but instead of folding the pocket and the side at the same time, just fold the side as shown.

Start on the Canards

IMG_6399.jpeg

Flip it over and swivel down a pocket and then tuck it inside of the pocket behind as shown

Now Form the Canards

IMG_6405.jpeg

now you are going to fold out the canards as shown.

Unfold, Tuck a Pocket Inside

Now unfold the canards, fold the top flap down, and tuck it inside the plane.

Fold the Wings

IMG_6409.jpeg

Fold the canards back and then fold some wings as shown

Jet Fold

Bring the two sides in to jet fold.

Hide the Nasty Corners

IMG_6414.jpeg

To hide the corners on top of the jet fold just fold them inside as shown.

Form the Tail and Lock It

Pull up on the tail to form it and then roll the bottom of the plane to the inside to lock it.

If you got all the way to the bottom of this tutorial… then that might mean that you have finished the Anaconda! Good luck flying.
