Feed Scoop Out of a Milk Jug

This quick and easy project gives a common household item a second life while saving money and reducing waste.

Supplies

For this project you will need:

  1. 1 empty milk jug
  2. Box cutter or utility knife
  3. Permanent marker

Mark the Cutting Line

Using the permanent marker, draw a line around the bottom portion of the milk jug. Try to make the line even so the finished scoop will have a neat edge. (See picture.)



Cutting the Milk Jug

Carefully cut along the marked line using the box cutter. Take your time to make a clean, smooth cut. (See picture.)And always remember to cut away from your body and use caution when handling a sharp knife.
