Floating Candle

Have you ever wanted to make a candle look like its floating on water? I will show you how to make a floating candle that can last for hours.

Supplies

-cooking oil
-glass container
-water bottle
-scissors
-candle wick (find out how to make candle wicks here)

Candle Wick

First, punch a hole in the plastic. Then, feed through your wick so there is about 1/2 to 1/4 of an inch on the top of the plastic.   

Making the Candle.

First, get a clear glass. Then, fill your cup 1/2 to 3/4 with water. After that, fill the glass with just enough oil to cover the surface of the water. Finally, place the wick into the glass and light it up. If your homemade candle wick won't light then soak the wick in the oil.
