Fold Able a Frame House

i decided that for this competition i would challenge myself to take my favorite type of house which is an a frame house and turn it into a fold able piece so it can go from a flat sheet into a full 3d house this could be used in real life to take easily stack able sheets of materials and transport them around to create quick and cheep a frame houses

I started by coming up with different ideas and the idea that i settled on was a fold able a frame house so is tarted out by seeing what the net of a a frame house is

i decided to model what this net would look like in fusion 360 as it would simplify my checking of dimensions to make sure that it would work

next i traced out what i made in cad on to my piece of paper

If you choose to you can add a small piece on each end of the rectangles to added an awning/overhang onto the final a frame house i choose to do this but it doesn't make a difference if you do or not

cut out all along the outside edge

Fold along all 4 edges of the bottom the rectangle make sure to get good creases as it will make the final model look cleaner

to tape the walls fold up the triangle and the wall until they meet the put a peice of tape on the inside between the two and do this for booth triangles

to tape the last wall just fold it up and put a piece of tape on the outside in the middle and one of each edge to hold it all together and boom your done
