Friction Welding

friction welding is a form of welding that can be stronger than welding with a rod, can be used to weld materials like plastic to metal, and is very easy to do because it is rubbing two materials together until they melt together

for this project you will need:

1. a drill
2. plyers
3. a 3d printer

create and print parts that will fit into the drill and fit into each other

you can do this in a modeling software such as Tinkercad

fit the round skinny piece into the drill

grab the block with the plyers

start drilling into the plastic with the other plastic part while applying pressure but not too much pressure
