I made this costume by purchasing a beaded thrift store dress.
I cut the dress apart to use the fabric to make a drop waist sleeveless dress for the top layer of the costume. The lining is a slip made from satin.
I used a strip of fabric to make a belt to attach at the hips.
The headband is a piece of trim with a piece of rhinestone trim attached.
The pearls are made from Christmas garland. This is the cheapest way to make costume pearls. I just glue or sew the ends of the strands together.
