Introduction: I’m going to show you how a ‘go sharing’ scooter works because I really like the idea of the scooter and you don't have to buy a scooter yourself. The advantage is that you can ride a scooter on the moment you want to. The scooters are electric, so it is a better alternative for using cars. It is a sustainable mobility choice.

You can download the app in the app store. If you have downloaded it and then open the app you will see a map with all ‘Go-sharing’ scooters in the Netherlands. If you click on a scooter you will get a bar where you have to type your number and your address, how you want to pay and you also need your driver's license but I'll explain that in the next step.

You have to log in with your phone number and email address. You need to have your driving license with you to take a picture with your face in it. You also have to pay: you can choose using your credit card or iDeal. If you use iDeal, you have to buy a bundle.

When you open the app you get a map with all the scooters and where they are so you can walk to the scooter. If you have found the scooter then you have 15 minutes to walk to the scooter (you do not have to pay for those 15 minutes). You also have to check the scooter to see if there is any damage. If there is no damage then you can start riding, if there is damage you have to email the GO-sharing company.

When you open the app you will see a button with which you can scan a QR code, so scan the code on the scooter and then the scooter will turn on and you can ride it. When you are on the scooter you fold the kickstand and you accelerate if you have reserved a scooter, then you can press start in the app and the scooter will start. The scooter will go forward and you are driving. If you want to make a turn you have to turn the direction indicator so people can see where you are going. If you have to stop you release the gas and push the brakes, put your feet on the ground so you don't fall over.

If you want to turn off the scooter, put the scooter on the stand and press: end the ride. Then you have to scan the QR code again and then the scooter is switched off. You also have to make a picture of the scooter, so they can see where you parked it.

There are green and red areas on the app's map, you can only park in the green area for free. If you want to go to a shop or cafe you can park the scooter in the red area but then you have to pay 5 cent per minute. If you return the scooter, you have to bring it back to the green area.
