Good&Bad

The Good & Bad hat represents the good and evil that is found in everyone and shows how we should accept it equally.
Supplies
- Stick (kebab skewer or short dowel)
- Paint - black, blue
- Scissors
- Hot glue*
- Hot glue gun*
- Foam paper - red, white, red glitter
- Pencil
- A plain, straw hat or any wide-brimmed hat
*you can also use cold silicone if you do not have hot glue and a hot glue gun, but it will take longer to dry
Sketch Your Design

Make a quick sketch of the final product to use as a guide.
Mark Your Hat

Draw a jagged line down the middle of the crown of the hat and the brim.
Add Color

Paint one side of the hat blue and the other side black. Set aside to dry.
Angel Wing

Take your white foamy paper and draw an angel wing. When you have finished, cut it out and set aside.
Devil's Wing

Use the angel wing to trace a devil's wing on the red foamy paper. Cut out the devil's wing. Put the wing to the side with the angel's wing.
Devil's Horn

Take your red glitter foamy paper and draw a devil's horn. Cut it out and place to the side with the wings.
Angel's Halo

Take the remainder of your white foamy paper and draw an angel's halo. Color it gold or yellow and cut it out.
Use hot glue to attach it to a short dowel or strong kebab stick (with the pointy side cut off).
Put It All Together

In the final step, take all of the items (angel's wing and halo and devil's wing and horn) and glue them to the painted hat; check that the paint is dry, first. In this final step, glue the angel wing in the middle of the blue side of the hat and the devil wing in the middle of the black side. Then, glue the devil's horn to the top of the crown on the black side of the hat, above the devil's wing. Finally, poke a small hole into the top of the crown of the hat on the blue side and glue the the bottom of stick with the angel's halo. If you used a kebab skewer, make sure to cut the pointy end off!
And you're finished!
