Grocery Bag Holder
This is our grocery bag holder. We made it so that people can carry many more grocery bags at once so they won't have to make as many trips to get more groceries.
Supplies
3D printer, 3d printer filament, slicer website, 3D design website.
3d Designin Website
For our project we used tinkercad but you can use any 3D design website.
Starting the Design
First, you will want a long cylinder for the base of it. We made our base 127 centimeters and 20.37 centimeters wide and 26 centimeters tall.
Make the Gaurds
These are to keep the bags from falling off. They are 47.93 centimeters long and 13.70 centimeters wide and 24 centimeters tall.
Make the Middle Bar
This attaches the handle to the bottom. It is 104 centimeters long and 20.37 centimeters wide and 26 centimeters.
Make the Handle
This is the handle. It is 120 centimeters long and 25 centimeters wide and 26 centimeters tall.
Making Grips for the Handle
These grips make the handle easier to hold. Make ovals and turn them into holes and when you put them on the handle you want to select all the shapes and group them into one.
Finshed Design
When everything is grouped into one shape it should look like this.
Choose a Slicer
We used Makerbot.Cloudprint to slice our design.
Thumb Drive
Out on a USB/Thumb drive and you are ready to plug it into the printer.
Start Printing
Plug the USB into your printer and select the file you want to print and soon you will have a grocery bag holder.
