Groom Boutonniere With Natural Flowers

If you are preparing for the BIG DAY you need to ensure that bride and groom look amazing!
While everybody is thinking in the bride's outfit, there is one single accessory that the groom cannot miss: the boutonniere.
In this instructable I am showing how to create a PROFESSIONAL boutonniere.
Gather Your Materials

You need:
- 3 small flowers (is better if they are different in shape)
- 2 different types of foliage
- Floral food and water
- floral tape
- Scissors
- Cord
- Corsage pin
- Hot glue gun
Prepare Floral Food

Dilute floral food with water as per manufacturer's instructions.
Hydrate Flowers

Cut the stems in 45° and hydrate in the floral food for around 8 hours.
Since the final boutonniere will have no water, this step is VERY IMPORTANT to ensure your flowers are hydrated and will look awesome.
Dry Flowers

Dry flowers with a napkin to ensure that the floral tape will hold them
Create Boutonniere

Star with the foliage in the back and add the flowers in the front. Cut stems in the same level.
Wrap Boutonniere With Floral Tape

Hold flowers and foliage together with floral tape
Add Cord

Tie cord and wrap it all to the bottom of the boutonniere to hide the floral tape. You can add hot glue.
Add Corsage Pin and Wear

Your boutonniere is ready to be wear by the groom! Doesn't it look amazing?
You can also create boutonnieres for the groomsmen using this technique; just remember that groomsmen and groom boutonnieres should be different.
