Drawing inspiration from South Indian Floral culture, I have created a traditional floral rangoli and garland using vibrant plucked and disintegrated petals of yellow, orange, red, and white flowers. These floral art forms are deeply woven into our culture—used to welcome guests, mark auspicious occasions, and decorate temples and homes. The bright hues not only represent the colors of the rainbow, but also reflect the warmth, harmony, and festive spirit of South India. Through this piece, I hope to share a glimpse of our living traditions and how nature’s colors continue to inspire our daily lives.
