Halloween White Chocolate Bark
I have always loved white chocolate, but sometimes I get bored with just eating plain white chocolate. When I thought about entering the Halloween instructions, I figured this would be the perfect time to make white chocolate fun and Halloweeny. This recipe is very simple and a very sweet, tasty snack.
Supplies
Tools:
- Bowls
- Spoons
- Parchment paper
- Spatula
- Toothpick
Supplies:
- 2 cups of white chocolate, chopped
- 1 drop purple food coloring
- 1 drop green food coloring
- 1 drop orange food coloring
- some candy eyeballs
- 1 teaspoon of Halloween-colored sprinkles
- any amount of candy corn
Melt Chocolate
Place your chopped chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave it for (blank seconds). Once melted, grab a spoon and stir up the chocolate until there are no more chunks
Coloring the Chocolate
Divide 3 tablespoons of melted white chocolate into three separate bowls. Add one drop of purple food coloring into one bowl, one drop of the purple food coloring into another bowl(separate from the other one), and in the last bowl, add one drop of orange food coloring.
Remaining Chocolate
Pour remaining white chocolate onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Using a spatula, spread the chocolate until it's 1/8"- to 1/4"-thick.
Color
Once your chocolate is evenly spread, you are going to dump each bowl of the colored chocolate into the white chocolate, all in different places, so it's nice and spread out. Then you will take your toothpick and swirl all the colors around so its nice and marbled.
Decorate
Now that your chocolate is complete, you can add the sprinkles, candy corn, and the candy eyes, which are all optional for a festive touch.
Refrigerate
Lastly put the chocolate into the refrigerator for 20 minutes. Once complete, break into pieces and enjoy.
