Homemade Eco-friendly Simple Window Cleaner
This is an easy and quick window cleaning solution. It's eco-friendly: no nasty chemicals. Much better than Windex. You'll need:
- rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol
- corn starch
- white vinegar
- water
Materials:
- empty spray bottle with lid/straw
- rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol
- corn starch
- white vinegar
- water
Materials:
- empty spray bottle with lid/straw
Measure
Measure out 2 tablespoons of corn starch into the container. We used a spice funnel to get the stuff inside easily.
Add 1/2 cup vinegar.
Add 1/2 cup alcohol.
Add 4 cups water.
Add 1/2 cup vinegar.
Add 1/2 cup alcohol.
Add 4 cups water.
Mix
Close the lid and shake well. That's it.
Shake up the mixture before you use it, as it settles a bit. You can use it with newspaper as wipes.
When you're done spraying and wiping, make sure to wipe off the mixture or else it will leave a haze on the windows.
