Homemade Air Filter

My kitchen was being remodeled and the air was dusty while being remodeled so I made this. It may sound stupid but the reason I used a box is so I get more airflow versus just sticking tissues to the front of the fan.

Things you'll need:
A fan (it will be better if it was a tower fan or a centrifugal fan)
A box
Some tissues
Some tape (okay maybe a lot)
And a cutting tool of any kind

Step 1: Cut a Hole for the Fan

Cut a hole for the fan slightly smaller than the fan itself.

Step 2: Cut Holes for the Tissues

Make sure to cut the holes slightly smaller than the tissue. Cut as many holes as possible for the tissues.

Step 3: Stick the Tissues to the Holes

Now stick the tissues to the holes and make sure it is airtight (air should only be passing trough the tissues). Do the same with the other holes.

Step 4: Put the Box on the Fan

Place the box on the fan and you're done! The thing won't blow much air but it works! I made two versions which is the original one and the centrifugal fan one but I used the same box. The centrifugal fan model works better because axial fans simply doesn't create a lot of pressure.
