How to Make the Pancake Paper Airplane

Equipped with retractable landing gear, and related to the "Nose Heavy" paper airplane; the Pancake is the next upgrade to anyone's paper air force.

Materials

Required:
1 Piece of 8.5 by 11 inch paper
Tape
Optional:
Pencil

Corner Fold

You take the corner and fold it down to the side then repeat on the other side.

Then you tuck in the fold.

Fold the Nose Down

Fold the nose down to the current line of the airfoil.

Fold the Landing Gear

Fold what will later become the landing gear into the nose weight.

Half Fold

Fold your aircraft along its center. Then fold it's wings down.

IMPORTANT:

Keep the gear flaps free while folding the wings down.

Winglet Fold

Fold the winglets up on each side.

Landing Gear Fold

Fold the landing gear by gently folding the paper into the shown slats.

Taping
