How to Make the Simple Skyrocket Paper Airplane
Fast, long range and very simple, the Simple Skyrocket is an flying wing very similar to the Skyrocket (https://www.instructables.com/id/How-To-Make-The-Skyrocket-Paper-Airplane/) in shape, but even easier to construct! Its great performance and easy construction make the Simple Skyrocket an excellent choice for an introduction to flying wing paper airplanes.

Fourth Folding
Fold the paper along its width. Then fold it in half again, to result in fourths. Then open the paper. You should have a paper divided into four.
Counterweight Folding
Unfold your paper so that it is in a width half fold orientation. Then, pull the corners into the center, where the width and length half folds meet. Then fold the front down to the back. Establish a crease, and then undo the fold. Fold the front to the crease you made, make a crease and unfold. Then fold the front to that crease. Then fold the paper down over itself 3 more times. When finished with this process, the paper should appear as it does in the last photograph.
Taping
Tape your Simple Skyrocket's counterweight fold.
Cut and Fold the Fins
Fold your airplane up in half. Then make marks 1 inch in from the trailing edge along the wingtip, and 1 inch in from the wingtip along the trailing edge. From the point on the trailing edge, make a line parallel to the wingtip 1.25 inches long. From there, draw another line to connect its end to the mark on the wingtip. Then cut along the line you just made. Once you've made your cut, fold your fins up. Make sure they remain parallel to the center by aligning their trailing edges with that of the wing.
Flight
The Simple Skyrocket is an easy flier. With a slight toss, it will fly for a substantial distance, at a quick pace too. Its simplicity and predictable flight characteristics make it an excellent trainer paper airplane. Enjoy!
