How to Make the Thunderjet Paper Airplane

Fast, long range, and agile, the Thunderjet paper airplane is a dart with an inverted gull wing, quite similar in shape to the Research Dart.

Materials

Required:
1 Piece of 8.5 by 11 inch paper
Tape
Optional:
Scissors
Pencil

Begin Folding

Take your paper and fold it in half. Then pull the two corners in.

Nose Fold

Take your paper and fold it so you are pulling a little more that the corner folds down. Then pull the corners in again.

Security Fold

Pull the small triangle up over the two flaps to lock them down.

WIng Folding

From it's previous postition, fold the Thunderjet up along its center. Then fold the wings down to the bottom of the fuselage.

Gull Fold

Parrallel to the center, fold the inverted gull wing shape. Your folds should appear as shown. After this is done, pull the wings down again.

Taping

The Thunderjet requires one piece of tape at the rear of the aircraft.

Flight
