How to Host Your Own Art Fight

Ah, Art Fight - the internet sensation that takes over the world all through June. A game where 4+ teams meet for the crazy week of OC attack. Make your own HERE!

RULES: Other players can "attack" you by drawing one of your OCs. You get points awarded to your team by the Art Fight host for how good your attack is. After that, you can Revenge. Revenge is basically you attack the player who attacked you to get points for your team back. There is also this thing called Friendly Fire, where you attack someone on your own team, either just for fun or to get your team more points.

NOTE: These do go in chronological order.

Choose a Host. The Host cannot draw and cannot be biased. They will score all of the OC drawings. Host, please complete the steps that are italicized. Non-Hosts (aka users), please follow the normal, non-italicized steps.

Set-up (Host ONLY)

Start by choosing the theme - something that will inspire everybody (example: elements)

Create the team names! Choose at least ten names and eliminate team names as you go. Here are some team names for my Space example: Fire, Ice, Water, Earth, Storm.

Make a Google Form with the following questions:

Username

Real Name

Preferred Team

All participating OC's

Allowing Friendly Fire & Revenge?

After everyone has signed up, count the number of users (e.x. 12.) Then, divide the teams so each team has three or four players. If you have more than, say, 30 users, then make the teams bigger. Then choose your favorite names and give them to the teams.

Profiles (Users)

Once you have been given a team name and you have been approved, create a profile! It must have the following things:

Username and real name

Team

All participating OC's

Profile picture (either OC or your art character [like a cover of your face, with emotions etc.])

Types of OC's (Human, Anthro, Feral, Monster, Worm, Mech)

Attacking who? (e.x. friends, revenges, characters I like)

Do you do FF and Revenge?

Post Profiles (all)

Host: Make a Google Slideshow and create space for the teams to post their profiles.

Users: Post your profiles on the Google Slideshow.

FIGHTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!! (All)

Users: Begin by drawing OC's from the other teams. Then, give it to the Host for points as well as doing that for Friendly Fires and Revenges (see below). If somebody draws your OC, if you said yes to Revenges, then you can draw their OC back and take some points! If your team has barely any points compared to another and you don't want to attack them, then (if you said yes) you can Friendly Fire, which is to attack other players on your team either just for fun or to get your team more points.

Host: Every time a drawing is completed, you must score it by technical and style. Technical includes: how near the lines are, how well it's colored in, any unfinished spots, etc. Style includes colors, how much of the OC you drew (full body? headshot?), how well you replicated the OC, etc. Give out points fairly!
