How to Knit a Coaster

make a coaster for your cup of tea :DDD

Tie the beginning of the string to one of the sticks

Take that stick and hold it in your left hand

Grab the string with a fist with your other hand

Stick out the thumb and pointer finger on your right hand like a gun

Loop the string around your thumb and pointer finger

Take the stick in your left hand and put it through the string between your thumb and middle finger
Pull it back and let the string around your fingers go (do not let go of your grip on the string)
Loop the string back around your thumb and repeat the previous two steps for as many stitches as you want your coaster to be. (more stitches = bigger)

Grab your second stick with your left hand

Take the first loop of string from the right stick and put your left stick in it (don’t pull through)
Cross the left stick behind the right stick

Grab the hanging string and pull it around the left stick only
Pull the stick down a little
Hook the left stick through the space created between the two sticks (do not pull through)

Pull up the stick to take that stitch off the right stick

Repeat the previous steps for the rest of the stitches on the right stick
It Should Look Like This After One Go

Take the left stick that now has all the stitches and switch hands (the right stick should have nothing on it) Repeat the previous steps for as long you want (for how long you want your coaster to be)
Does It Look Like This?

After you've done a few lines, the coaster should start to form a little (like the picture) The process should also look like those cartoon grandmas that knit
Casting Off

make the first two stitches normally

With the right stick, put it through the first stitch
Pull it over the second stitch and the stick

Make a normal stitch
Repeat the previous steps until you’ve finished all the stitches
To finish loop the string around the left stick and pull it through the last stitch (the right stick should be gone)
