How to Make Bluetooth Speaker Cap at Your Home

Hello friends in this instructables I will show you how to make this bluetooth speaker cap at your home in very simple way.
This is an interesting project to consider if you love playing music forget about all those headphones and earphones which place music inside your ears that will ruin your hearing ability overtime!
So why not switch on to this bluetooth speaker that has external speakers that could play your favourite music when you are on the go keeping the safety in mind.
This is rechargeable Bluetooth speaker project that has large backup capacity to play your music for a long time, I have used speakers for this project from my upcycled mini loudspeakers.
By seeing the thumbnail above you already have an idea how this looks like! This looks so cool isn't it?
So now you could also build this project following this instructions, To begin with let us gather all the supplies required to build this project
Note as usual I have given working video given at the end of this instructables so don't miss to check it out
Considering the size of the speaker the bass is pretty good you can play any type of music without worrying about the backup
Since we are using the batteries inside have 800Mah capacity which works pretty fine considering the components used in this project.
The materials used is also very simple and easily available! So i would like to see your project in the i made it section.

Circuit and Electronics

This circuit may look complex to you but when you look at the components that you are using in the pin they will mention the exact slot where it needs to be connected
Like for say the speaker audio board has left and right speaker connections. In my case I have connected both speakers to one side, you can do it for your connections also
You can connect to either RR to the LL, Here R and L stands for the right and left directions of the speaker.
To make the circuit look little less Complex and occupy less space I will be connecting the Bluetooth module as well as the speaker amplifying module to one battery source.
Also I will be adding a switch to control the power supply to these electronic components
After you make all the circuit connection you can test the circuit for its working simply turn on the power supply and now turn on the Bluetooth in your phone.
You should be able to see the name of bluetooth hardware, Simply connect to these and open your favourite music and try playing.
If everything is fine you should be able to play the music or in case if something is not working please make sure to check if the circuit connections are made considering the circuit diagram
This is the circuitary part and now we can make the cap part that is the most essential part for this project
You can also replace this open circuit with a simple PCB, Complete your electronic projects in the best way from PCBWay
Why them? They have provided me with the best PCB, and the quality is just amazing compared to other providers in the market. They also have Color PCB printing check it out

Making Cap

To make the cap Part I will be using black chart paper which is somewhat thick compared to ordinary paper if you need more thick you can consider joining two of the sheets together using paper glue.
In my case a single layer did the pretty well job for me,start by marking the arc as shown in the steps above which looks like the front of the cap I will be using compass.
Considering the size of my old cap I made this measurement, You can also measure the size of your cap that you used to wear to mark these measurements on this black sheet of paper.
Make the marks with pencil and later you can just flip the side and these marks will be hidden.
Once you make the measurements cut across the marks and to add the supporting band you can follow the simple step.
Just make tiny cuts using scissors across their inside part(check visual of this steps) and using paper glue stick the front portion to the band.
Allow it to dry completely if needed you can add an additional layer of glue also
Now you have the half part of the cap ready, For the rest half we will work on the securing part and see how that is done in the next step.
Cap Fitting

To make sure this cap fits various head sizes I made this small alteration.
You can keep the length of the securing band as long as you want and to make it fit for the given head size I will be using this small Ring type of thing.
I made this by folding and gluing the sheet of paper, I will be adding this to add much more grip to the user head when they are wearing.
The only problem with this material is it is not waterproof, Well i think it is not a serious matter because who will wear this cap while its raining!
If you think you are a hard cap user you might need to add two layers of this sheet, This is pretty simple all you had to do is apply glue to the front layer of paper and just paste the another layer of paper
I made 2 parts that looks exactly the same allow it to dry completely before your move on to the next steps.
If you have velcro then it is pretty much better, just you can have additional grip at no extra effort
At this point we are fully done with cap build part and now we can add the electronics that we just made earlier
Speaker Head Installation

I like this step very much since you can see your project coming to life! You can also choose other designs also to hold the speaker
To make the speaker head I started by making a basic template on a plane sheet of paper.
If you love mathematics then you might easily understand by looking at this template and replicate your own!
Well if not you can just simply use the template I used considering my one size measurement so that you can easily create your own.
Once if you are okay with the template just trace it on a sheet of cardboard and cut the cardboar.
Now to make it more appealing, I just covered the cardboard with colour paper.
We can now install it to the main cap using hot glue, I strongly recommend using very hot glue so that this won't come out so easily when used under different situations
If you have thin but strong flex boards you can replace using cardboard with those also
Testing and Video Tutorial

Testing this project is very fun and interesting and I have been waiting for long time to test this project out.
To use this project all you have to do is turn on the speaker like the ordinary speaker give it a few seconds meanwhile turn on bluetooth in your mobile phone.
Check for the available devices,in some cases you might need to click on the search devices on your phone once you see the Bluetooth name of the board just press on the connect now.
Once it is connected you will get a beep sound on the speaker, Now open your favourite music playing app and turn on your favourite music and start enjoying the music.
Now you can wear this cap like a normal cap but you you will be able to play the music whereas in the ordinary cap it can't be done!
This is all about this project if you have anything to ask related to this project ask in discussion! Thank you and happy building
